Wazzup holmes!?!?! Dude congrats on your catch. How've things been going for you? Working at UCSC from what I found in Google. Good for you! Myself, still doing the family thing just out here in hot ass Phoenix. Still have only my daughter who's going on nine years old come September. Crazy how time flies.

I just got a chance to check out your blog here for the first time tonight and I got to say this is some pretty cool work I have to go through the whole thing to see what you've been up to. Dude, do you still have that video from our "trip" to Montana de Oro when you were going to kill the mountain lion with your 1 inch pocket knife? That still cracks me up every time I think about it. For this, I used it by itself since it records the tracks in its internal memory. Then when I came back, I plugged it into my laptop and extracted the points with the included software and dumped to google earth.

That's too bad. I agree the podcast support is horrible. Would be cool if Zing added another menu item for RSS feeds with podcast support.

I have DopplerMobile on my Blackjack phone and it would be great if something like that were on the Connect. You can subscribe to feeds and download the mp3 files straight to the phone.

I tried looking for the old Yahoo Podcast plugin for the Yahoo Music Jukebox but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Hah thanks for the comment. Actually your blog and Sumocat's were what got me into trying it in the first place.
I have Ed Holloway's plugin and it's great.. but it just doesn't feel right with a 800x480 (Samsung Q1) screen. For now, Windows Journal in fullscreen is more comfortable.
Oh I found a nifty site that'll generate the imagemap html code for you.

Awesome, another ink blogger! I haven't done an ink blog in a while, though. :P Just wanted to let you know, in case you didn't already check it out, that there's an ink blogging plug-in for Windows Live Writer. IIRC, the developer's name is Ed Holloway.

The plug-in is really awesome, and makes ink blogging a lot quicker. It doesn't have support for creating image map links over your handwriting, but otherwise, there's all sorts of formatting options for the ink.

Thanks for checking out my Sansa Connect review. :) I definitely agree with the points you made. I =love= the streaming radio stations and being able to get mixes similar to songs you're currently listening to. Very very cool. I just am such a podcast listener that the Sansa Connect ultimately doesn't work for me. Too bad... I really like the technology they put into the device. Totally kicks the Zune's butt. If it were possible to manage all the music directly from the device, I'd consider keeping it. But as it stands, I'm either returning it or selling it to someone else who'd appreciate it more.

My next device to check out is the iRiver Clix 2! I just saw news today (yesterday) that it is finally on sale, so I just pulled the trigger. Hopefully I can return or sell the Sansa Connect soon to offset the expense. *sheepish grin*
